The BDA Franchising & Business Corporate Charity Golf Day 2020 scheduled for Tuesday 31st March has been cancelled due to concerns around the impact of the Coronavirus.
BDA Director Mark Fernandez said, “It is with great regret that I have decided to cancel this year’s Golf Day.
I have been in discussion with a number of past players and sponsors over the past week and the common theme is ‘they can’t afford it’ or ‘can’t take the time out of the business at the moment as sales are not where they used to be’ – the impact of the Corona-Virus is deepening across all business sectors. It is for this reason that I have decided today to postpone this year’s event, however, we will monitor business confidence over the coming months and look to return next year.”
