Our Story
The Jamaica Blue contemporary Café franchise concept was created by Foodco Group Pty Ltd (Foodco) in 1992 with the first store launched at Westfield Miranda. This store still stands today and 23 years later, a second site has opened within this centre. Jamaica Blue was built on two simple beliefs that have guided us in everything that we’ve done: a belief in sourcing, roasting and preparing the very best coffee; and a belief in using only fresh, locally- sourced ingredients.

What We Offer: Marketing Support Tailored marketing strategies are developed to increase brand awareness and drive sales at both a local and national level. Franchisees are supported with a marketing program which includes: digital, in-store, and loyalty strategies. In addition, each franchisee works with a marketing consultant to develop a tailored local area marketing plan for their store.

Training Provided Every Jamaica Blue Franchisee receives extensive initial training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to operate a Jamaica Blue café. The initial franchisee training program is accredited, which means participants receive 3 nationally recognised qualifications. Franchisees are then supported by a team of specialists and consultants, in-field, during the café opening and on an ongoing basis.

Skills The structured support and training programs provide all the skills and knowledge needed for people from all backgrounds and walks of life to setup and run their own Jamaica Blue Franchise café.
Skills acquired during the accredited training program range from: barista skills, food safety, customer service to finance and leadership management.
