Director Mark Fernandez (l) presents cheque to MAD CEO Ron Conway (r)
On the 30th of May 2014, Business Development Alliance (BDA) presented a cheque to the Make A Difference WA foundation at No 4 Blake Street over breakfast with other major sponsors.
The proceeds were obtained from their annual Franchising and Business Corporate Charity Golf Day which was held on the 1st of April 2014 and featured sporting stars Glen Jackovich, Shaun MacManus and Damian Martin teeing off with attendees and ‘Mouth of the South’ Tiny Holly auctioneering a prize packed auction. Overall the day saw over $3.4 thousand dollars raised for Justin Langer’s patron charity Make A Difference WA.
Of the sizeable donation, CEO Ron Conway thanked BDA “for raising these invaluable funds for our foundation” and that ” these funds will go directly towards our latest charity project the Youth Mentor Scholarship Program.”
The Youth Mentor Scholarship Program is a West Australian initiative geared towards supporting youth who come from a disadvantaged background but have shown great talent in their chosen field through providing financial assistance to pursue their dreams.
BDA Director Mark Fernandez was all too happy to support the program, saying “BDA are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to give back to the local community through a WA charity that actually does ‘Make A Difference’ and look forward to contributing more funds in the future.”

BDA in conjunction with other major sponsors are already in the midst of planning next year’s Golf Day which promises to be just as star-filled and enjoyable as this year but are always looking for more sponsors to contribute to a worthy West Australian cause, “The more sponsors we have, the bigger and better the day and the bigger and better the contribution to a worthy West Australian cause” said Mark Fernandez.
