Strategic Planning

Strategic planning is an integral aspect of strategic management, and is essentially the process of an organisation defining its direction or strategy, and making decisions on the allocation of its resources in pursuit of this strategy. The result of this assessment will lead to a clear identification of a business' strengths and weaknesses, which will enable the development of a workable strategic plan. What can your business achieve? What potential is there for growth?

Essentially, BDA works with you to create a vision of where you want the business to be in three to five years, and then develops a roadmap to get you there. Together we will:

  1. Identify what it is you really want your business to do for you (quality of life, financial independence, more free time, etc).
  2. Build on your business' strengths whenever possible. They should be exploited and reinforced to give you an edge over your competitors.
  3. Be aware of your company's weaknesses, but try to correct only those that are barriers to your overall success.
  4. Maximise your business success by taking advantage of opportunities to service customers' needs in areas where those strengths exist. We will show you how to avoid areas where you have weaknesses.
  5. Identify where there are threats to your business, and then counter them by building on your strengths and improving minor weaknesses.
